Purpose of My Post

As you will see if you continue reading this post, setting an intention is a big part of not only understanding why you are taking the time to do something but also to infuse your activity with the vibrational frequency you desire.  This is why I am beginning a practice of starting each article I write with my intention, or purpose, for the post.  I have realized that often we have such high expectations for the outcome of something and a lot of times, the result doesn’t match up with them.  At least for me, this happens more often than I care to admit. 

 

When I recognized that the key piece I was missing was actually taking the time to get clear on why I was writing, it was a massive shift for me.  Intention setting is getting real with yourself.  It’s taking the time to really nail down what you want to happen.  Setting intentions allows you to set your ego aside and commune with your higher self.  

 

All that to say that the purpose of my post, or my intention in writing this, is not only to give you ideas of how to incorporate the Law of Attraction into your daily life.   My purest intention is to spark the desire inside of you to show up in this lifetime doing what you came here to do by giving you a tool that can change the very trajectory of your path.

What is the Quickest Way to Manifest Your Dream Life?

Create and practice a Daily Law of Attraction Routine

 

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the concept that what you focus on expands because like energy attracts like energy.  You want a pair of shoes you saw on an Instagram ad?  All of a sudden those shoes are everywhere.  Do you expect to receive poor service at a fast food restaurant you frequent all the time?  It’s going to happen. 

 

To expand even further, not only do you attract what you think about, you have the powerful ability to create what you encounter on a daily basis.  If you believe that everyday for you is more of the same miserableness, you can change that.  Right now.  But is going to take willingness and commitment on your part as well as clarity on your intention.  Don’t expect the Law of Attraction to be some magic pill you swallow and voila, everything changes without any effort from you.  If you don’t fully understand it and how you can actively create your life through deliberate and conscious choice, it’s not going to work for you.

 

The Law of Attraction Steps

According to Abraham Hicks, there are 5 steps to manifesting what you want and therefore actively creating the life you desire.

 

Step 1: What do you want?

Abraham Hicks likens the creation of our desires to a stick.  One end is what you do want and the other end is what you don’t want.  When you experience a negative emotion, you automatically associate it with a situation you don’t want.  The key is to recognize these negative emotions as an indicator to ask yourself what you do want instead.  Identifying this is when your role as creator of your own reality begins.  You have a choice at the inception of a negative thought/feeling:  obsess over it until you are nose deep in a quagmire of negativity or stop and shift your thoughts to what you desire instead.  

 

Step 2: The Universe Answers

Whatever the result of step 1, the Universe will provide.  This principle is not even up for debate, it is a certainty.  You already have absolutely everything you have asked for.  The fun part is really getting honest with yourself as to what sort of things are waiting for you.  Abraham Hicks describes the place where all of our fulfilled desires are stored as the Vortex.  Think of it like an exclusive club that requires a key to get into.  

 

Step 3: Alignment

So how do you get the key?  By being in complete alignment with what we desire.  The hardest step for most of us, positive alignment requires practice.  When your vibrational frequency matches what you are calling into your life, you are allowed into the Vortex exclusive club to claim what is already yours.  

 

Step 4: Maintain Alignment

Once you finally get yourself to a state of where you need to be to achieve what you asked for, it is important to keep that feeling of alignment up.  As you shift into a more positive state of being, it gets easier to realize when you fall out of alignment and to take the necessary steps to get you back into the Vortex.  Speaking from experience, this gets easier the more you practice. 

 

Step 5:  Appreciate Your Emotional GPS 

When I first started working with the Law of Attraction, I was very hard on myself when I felt negative emotions.  I want to make it very clear that this was the wrong way to go about it as it only fostered additional negative feelings pushing me even further out of alignment.  When you feel heavy emotion as you go about your own practice (and you most certainly will), instead of beating yourself up over it, appreciate the reminder.  These emotions are like guideposts that are telling you when you are about to go off a cliff of negativity and spiral out of the Vortex.

How to Get into and Stay in Alignment

Now that you understand how you are the creator of your reality, the next step is to find a way to stay in the Vortex.  The easiest way to do this is to create a consistent process that resonates with you and you will stick with.  And so enters the Daily Law of Attraction Routine.      

 

One Size Does Not Fit All

Before we get into the elements of a successful routine I feel it’s important to understand that what works for one person may not work for you. Take the time to explore the ideas I present and add them or not to your own unique routine (or make up your own).  Also, if you find over time that you want to change some things out, please do so.  I only ask that you give your original routine enough time to really take hold.   

 

Ideas for Your Daily Law of Attraction Routine

Intention Setting 

As I mentioned above, knowing your intention is an amazing way to focus on what you want and why you want it.  A great place to do this is every morning before you get out of bed (and before you grab your phone).  Set your intention for how you want your day to go.

Meaningful Quotes

Find some quotes that speak to you and place them in a spot you see them daily.

Affirmations

Always keep these in the present tense as if they already happened.  

Visualization

Pretend you already achieved your dream.  Close your eyes and imagine what that looks like and how you feel.  This can be as simple as visualizing how you want your day to go.

Vision Board

You can old school magazine collage this or create a Pinterest board.  Keep it in your journal or a place you can see it everyday.

Practice Kindness

Do something nice for someone today and don’t tell anyone about it.  

Reflect on Your Day

At the end of your day, go back and see how you did.  Celebrate your wins and be gentle with yourself if you fell short of any expectations. 

Gratitude

I offer this as an idea but I believe this is essential to really turbocharge your manifestation.  Get a journal and write down what you are grateful for in this moment right now.  Or just say them in your head before you go to sleep.  Do it every single day.

Read Books

There are so many amazing books out there.  Grab one and incorporate some reading time into your day.  Don’t limit yourself on the type, it can be anything you are interested in and makes you feel good. 

Exercise

We all know the benefits of exercise, especially as a mood boosting tool.  

Meditate

I read something the other day that stuck with me: practice meditation because it puts you in a place of non-resistance.  This state of being is essential to receiving what you desire.

To Do List

Create a definitive list of what you would like to accomplish today.  It helps keep you on track and is a testament to your achievements. 

Things You are Looking Forward to

What is coming up for you that is exciting?  For me, it’s always the possibility of a trip somewhere.  Write down whatever it is and focus on the good feelings that come from thinking about it. 

Set a Goal

What do you wish to achieve?  Writing it down makes it real.

Lucky Charm

During the day you will find yourself in situations that threaten to make you forget everything you learned.  Find something small you can carry with you as a reminder to get back into the Vortex when you fall out. 

Speak in the Present Tense

Always speak as if it has already happened.  I sprained my ankle the other day and instead of telling everyone it hurts and I can’t walk, I say that it is healing every single day.

Relax

Another avenue of receiving, finding a way to relax is beneficial to get what you desire quicker.  Find a self-care way (it doesn’t have to involve money) that will put you in a state of relaxation.

Wish List

Write down what you want!  

Limiting Beliefs

You can’t attract what you want if you have beliefs that hold you back.  As part of your practice, consider uncovering what holds you back and working to rewrite them.

Shadow Work

Same goes for working with your shadow, the part of you that you don’t want to acknowledge.  Doing the hard work opens you up even further creating a life you desire.

Deep Clean

Clean your space.  A cluttered area or home is not conducive to the state of mind you want to be in as you manifest.  

Practice Mindfulness

Slow down.  Really chew your food and think about how it tastes, feels and smells.  Engage your senses as you go about your day as doing so will keep you in the present moment. 

Look for Ways to Feel Good

Even when you feel bad, find one thing to move you one step closer to a more positive feeling.  If you are mad at your husband, think of one thing that makes you feel better, even if a little bit.  It doesn’t have to be something nice about your husband, either.  

 

My Daily Law of Attraction Routine

I want to leave you with an idea of what a daily Law of Attraction routine looks like, so I will share my own.  It is not the same one I started with when I discovered this principle a few years ago and there have been times I just didn’t do one at all (looking back at these times, it is painfully obvious this routine was lacking).  Use this as a guideline as you create your own.

 

  • 5am – Wake up (usually because of my sweet black cat who wants to snuggle)
  • 5:01am – What am I feeling?  If not desirable, how do I want to feel instead?
  • 5:05am – What is my intention for today?  How do I wish my day to go?
  • 5:07am – Get out of bed
  • 5:10-5:25am – Walk my dog and look at the sky.  Feel how happy the sight of the moon and the stars makes me, enjoy the silence around me.
  • 5:25am – Make tea.
  • 5:30-5:40am – Meditate.  Sometimes this will be longer or shorter depending on how I feel.
  • 5:40-5:50am- Pull my daily tarot card.  Write in my tarot journal about the card and what comes up for me.
  • 5:50-7:30am – Read, write in my journal, list what I am grateful for and say my daily affirmations.
  • 7:30-7:35am – Write my to do list for the day.
  • 7:35am-8:30pm – Do adult stuff.
  • 8:30-9pm- Reflect on my day.  Go over the positive things that happened today and re-experience the feelings in my body.  Remember what I am grateful for.
  • 9pm – Go to sleep with a Yoga Nidra practice.
